David O. Russell is currently filming a new feature. And you know what that means when a new Russell film is underway—there’s always a stacked cast on board. According to Deadline, that’s exactly what Russell has done. The filmmaker has added Rami Malek and Zoe Saldana to his new feature that is currently in production. Malek is probably best known for his Oscar-winning role in the recent film “Bohemian Rhapsody.” For 2021, he has two features on the way, “The Little Things” with Denzel Washington, which is coming to HBO Max and theaters in a matter of days, and then later this year (possibly the fall, if speculation is true), the actor will be the villain in the latest James Bond film, “No Time to Die.”

As alluded to above, Saldana is probably best known for starring in some of the biggest films ever. In fact, she’s starred in the two biggest films of all time, “Avengers: Endgame” and “Avatar,” respectively. In addition to being the star of various franchises, she is already working on projects such as “The Adam Project” for Netflix, opposite Ryan Reynolds, and Saldana is also attached to “Sabaya” from director Reed Morano.

No release date has been set for the Russell film, but we’re going to assume it’s going to be an awards player for later this year? With a cast like this and the director’s history of acclaim, that seems like a safe bet.
