Well, it looks like we’re getting multiple Spidey villains showing up in Destin Daniel Cretton’s “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” as Michael Mando‘s Scorpion (returning after being introduced in “Homecoming“) and Marvin Jones III‘s Tombstone (reprising the NYC gangster after voicing him in “Into The Spider-Verse“) are getting some company in the fourth Tom Holland-led installment.
New promo art (spotted by Nexus Point News) making the rounds online from the film not only confirms a green Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) but that masked actors will be playing Marvel Comics villains Tarantula and the more obscure Boomerang alongside Mando’s suited-up Scorpion (not exactly comic book-accurate looks for the trio of Spidey baddies, but may work for the big screen iterations).

Of course, one drawback of these massive MCU movies is that merchandise leaks (these look like potential toy packaging artwork) tend to reveal details of the movies ahead of trailers and official loglines. So, we suspect that more leaks will be coming and may finally confirm who exactly Sadie Sink (“Stranger Things”) is playing after her mysterious casting raised a lot of eyebrows.
We already know that Jon Bernthal‘s Frank Castle/Punisher will be showing up in the movie alongside Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk, with other cast members set to include Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, “Severance” breakout Tramell Tillman (said to be playing an anti-mutant character), and “The Bear” actress Liza Colón-Zayas.
