For Taylor Sheridan—the writer-producer who keeps using the American West as both battleground and confessional—“The Madison” looks like another turn toward frontier mythology filtered through family pain. Paramount+ has released the official trailer and key art for the new drama, led by Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, with a two-part rollout in March.
The six-episode debut season premieres globally on Saturday, March 14, with episodes 1—3 streaming exclusively on the service, followed by episodes 4—6 on Saturday, March 21.
The series is a deeply personal family drama about resilience and transformation, channeling a love story through grief and human connection. It unfolds across two distinct worlds—the landscape of Montana and the energy of Manhattan—as it follows the Clyburns, a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.
The ensemble also includes Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, Matthew Fox, and Will Arnett.
“The Madison” is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. The series is executive produced by Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, Pfeiffer, Russell, and Keith Cox, with Voros directing all six episodes. A second season is planned for a date to be announced.
