‘Tulsa King’ Teaser: Sylvester Stallone Starts A New Crime Empire In New Show From Taylor Sheridan & Terence Winter

Let’s face it, Paramount+ is the house that Taylor Sheridan built. The streamer is the home of “1883,” the spin-off to Sheridan’s uber-popular western crime series “Yellowstone.” “Mayor Of Kingstown” resides there, too, as will a slew of other upcoming series connected to Sheridan’s breakout series. So, while critics don’t adore these shows half as much as fans do, Sheridan has a TV empire on his hands.

And Sheridan looks to build that empire out a little more with crime TV veteran Terence Winter, the man behind HBO‘s also uber-popular “The Sopranos.” In “Tulsa King,” expect the best from both Sheridan’s and Winter’s takes on the crime world. In the show, Sylvester Stallone plays NYC mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi, who, after 25 years in prison, gets exiled down to Tulsa by his boss upon release. Realizing his mafia family has left him for dead, Manfredi builds a crew of his own in Oklahoma to establish a new criminal empire, even though he’s a complete fish out of water down south.

Alongside Stallone, “Tulsa King” also stars Andrea Savage, Domenick Lombardozzi, Garrett Hedlund, Martin Starr, and Max Casella. Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, and A.C. Peterson also star.

“Tulsa King” leads “Lioness,” “1883: The Bass Reeves Story,” “Land Man,” and “1932” as the newest shows in Sheridan’s Paramount line-up. The combination of Stallone, Sheridan, and Winter should help “Tulsa King” separate itself from the pack.

The show premieres on Paramount+ this fall on November 13 with two episodes, with a simulcast of the first episode on Paramount Network after the season 5 premiere of “Yellowstone.” Watch the teaser below.
