Watch: 2 New Clips From ‘Youth’ Plus 55-Minute Talk With Director Paolo Sorrentino

YouthAfter spending his time in the more urban delights of his Oscar winning "The Great Beauty," Paolo Sorrentino has shifted gears for his next movie, "Youth," which takes its characters into the Swiss alps for an intimate drama. And while word on the movie has quieted since its Cannes premiere, it will be coming soon to American cinemas, and awards talk will heat up again.

Starring Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel, Rachel Weisz, and Paul Dano the story follows two elderly best pals — a composer and a filmmaker — who vacation in the Swiss Alps and reflect on the past while facing their future, and contemplating resuming a career, finishing a screenplay, respectively. Notices were good off the Croisette, and while Fox Searchlight has remained a bit mum, we’re sure a campaign is right around the corner.

"Youth" opens on December 4th. Check out two clips and a 55-minute talk with Paolo Sorrentino from the BFI London Film Festival below.
