In terms of acquisitions, you’d have a strong argument to say that Netflix’s biggest gain over the years was with the TV series, “You.” After being canceled on Lifetime, Netflix swooped in and brought it back for Season 2. Now, as we approach the release of the first half of Season 4, “You” is bigger than ever and easily one of the most successful streaming shows on the planet.

As is becoming increasingly more common in recent years, Netflix is taking “You” Season 4 and splitting it into two releases. ‘Part 1’ is scheduled to hit the streamer next month and picks up the story from where it left off in Season 3. For those who don’t watch the show, “You” follows the story of a serial killer named Joe, as he continues to evade his past and find new targets to hunt. This time, Joe is going to Europe, which is what every franchise ends up doing at some point, right?
Penn Badgley leads the cast, but he’s also joined by actors such as Tati Gabrielle, Charlotte Ritchie, Lukas Gage, Ed Speleers, Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman, Niccy Lin, Aidan Cheng, Brad Alexander, Ozioma Whenu, and Eve Austin. Sera Gamble returns as showrunner for “You,” which is also produced by Greg Berlanti.
“You” Season 4 debuts on Netflix on February 9. You can watch the trailer below.
Here’s the synopsis for Season 4:

Now, his future depends on identifying and stopping whoever’s targeting his new friend group of uber-wealthy socialites…
