‘12 12 12’ Teaser: Anthony Mackie & Jamie Dornan Play A Deadly Game Of Cat & Mouse In Apple’s Heist Thriller

The Apple TV heist drama reunites Mackie and Dornan after their 2019 sci-fi indie “Synchronic.”

Seven years after navigating a reality-bending designer drug in “Synchronic,” Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan are reuniting for another race against the clock—this time with a few clocks running at once.

The pair lead Apple TV’s “12 12 12,” an eight-episode heist thriller unfolding across the 12 months spent planning an audacious Zurich bank robbery, the 12 hours of its execution, and the 12 increasingly dangerous days that follow.

Each episode moves between the 12 months spent planning the crime, the 12 hours during which it unfolds, and the turbulent 12 days that follow. At the center of the story is an audacious raid on a bank vault buried beneath the streets of Zurich.

Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent pursuing Dornan’s American career criminal across Europe, with the two locked in what Apple describes as a “zero-sum game of cat and mouse.” The teaser introduces their increasingly dangerous pursuit while emphasizing the show’s three-part temporal structure: plan the job, execute it, and survive the consequences.
