2019 Animated Feature Film Oscars Predictions And Contenders

“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” has won every possible animation award possible this awards season. In theory, it should also win the Oscar. Many of us remember, however, when “How to Train Your Dragon” also dominated the circuit only to lose to Pixar’s less acclaimed “Brave.” The Pixar/Disney brand is strong with voters and chances are more of them saw “Incredibles 2,” a huge monster hit. Sometimes the membership knows they should do the “right” thing and we’re thinking that keeps “Spider-Verse” in the winner’s circle. [Updated Feb. 12]
