3 More Great Posters For 'Killing Them Softly'

nullCredit where credit is due: The Weinstein Company is certainly making a push for Andrew Dominik's "Killing Them Softly" that will hopefully result in a solid reception for the film at the box office (and with awards-type folks). And unlike the baffling and dull infographic road they went down with "Lawless" (and are starting to go down with "Django Unchained"), they are instead putting out some killer one sheets for the movie that will certainly get more eyes on them.

After a trio of pretty solid Mondo-designed spreads that dropped earlier in the week, three more posters have arrived that are equally bold. Not only do they rightly evoke the '70s vibe of Dominik's anti-thriller, they also capture the tough-to-wrangle cynical tone of the movie that casts a sharp and critical gaze at the American economy and particularly those in charge who put us there. Whether or not this message will resonate with a wide audience is a bit of gamble, but it certainly ensures no one goes into the movie expecting a standard shoot 'em up thriller. This is something both a bit more cerebral and unexpected.

Starring Brad Pitt, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta and more, "Kiling Them Softly" gets contracted out on November 30th. [Fandango]nullnullnull
