After signing on to scribe the next the Bond film, Peter Morgan has left his post as director of “The Special Relationship.” The film, which would have marked Morgan’s directorial debut, is the third part of his Tony Blair trilogy and follows Blair’s relationship with U.S. president Bill Clinton. Craig Robinson, Heather Graham, Johnny Knoxville and Camilla Belle will star along side Kevin Spacey in “Father of Invention,” an ensemble comedy that follows a humble inventor-turned-egomaniacal billionaire (Spacey) who, after spending eight years in prison when one of his inventions goes awry, finds it difficult upon re-entry to society to salvage his relationship with his family. Man, that’s a cast of mostly also-rans. [THR]
