Netflix has an assortment of animated series premiering this Fall, but LeSean Thomas’ latest show, titled “Bass x Machina,” may be the most intriguing. Set in a steampunk Wild West, the show follows a father who must take the law into his own hands to protect his family. Bryan Tyree Henry and Tati Gabrielle lead the voice cast.

In a lawless Steampunk West filled with outlaws, machines, and supernatural threats, a father must serve as judge, jury, and executioner to protect his family-risking the loss of those he loves most.
The voice cast for the series beyond Henry and Gabrielle includes Currie Graham, Janelle Monáe, Cree Summer, Chaske Spencer, and Starletta DuPois.
Thomas serves as creator and executive producer on “Bass x Machina.” The series is his third animated project with Netflix after 2019’s “Cannon Busters” and 2021’s “Yasuke.” “Bass x Machina” is a Studio Mir production.
