“Beef” was one of Netflix‘s biggest original hits of 2023, a pulse-pounding revenge dramedy that scored extra-high marks from critics and audiences alike (The Playlist’s review awarded S1 an “A-“. Of course, that success guaranteed a second season, and it wasn’t long before the likes of Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Cailee Spaeny, and Charles Melton signed on to star in S2 in October 2024.

Now, after a year-plus wait for Netflix subscribers, “Beef” S2 premieres in April, with the new season trading the parking lot for the elitist country club. A loaded, coercive battle of wills begins after a young couple witnesses a fight between their boss and his wife, with both pairs currying favor with the club’s Korean billionaire owner.
Today, Netflix and A24 released the Official Teaser and New Photos for the highly anticipated second installment of BEEF, premiering April 16, 2026. Trading the parking lot for the country club, the new season begins when a young couple witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife – setting off a high-stakes game of favors and coercion within an elitist world ruled by a Korean billionaire.

BEEF returns with a new cast and a new “beef,” as a Gen-Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their Millennial boss and his wife. Newly-engaged Ashley Miller (Cailee Spaeny) and Austin Davis (Charles Melton), both lower-level staff at a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of their General Manager, Joshua Martín (Oscar Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín (Carey Mulligan). Through favors and coercion, both couples vie for the approval of the elitist club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park (Youn Yuh-jung), who struggles to manage her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim (Song Kang-ho).
Along with its main foursome, “Beef” S2 also stars Seoyeon Jang. Additional cast this season includes Youn Yuh-jung, Song Kang-Ho, William Fichtner, Mikaela Hoover, and BM.
Lee Sun Jin serves as creator, showrunner, and executive producer on “Beef.” Other executive producers on the show include Jake Schreier, Steven Yeun, Ali Wong, Mulligan, Isaac, Melton, Spaeny, Anna Moench, Kitao Sakurai, and Ethan Kuperberg. A24 co-produces “Beef S2” with Netflix.
