Later this year, Jason Momoa returns to his role as Aquaman to help battle bad guys and save all life under the sea in “Aquaman & the Lost Kingdom.” But even when he’s not wearing the green and gold superhero costume, Momoa is still fighting on behalf of life in the oceans as the narrator of the new documentary “Deep Rising.”
With “Deep Rising” arriving in theaters later this fall, we are thrilled to give our reader an exclusive peek at the trailer for the documentary. The film tells the story of a very real story about a natural resource found at the bottom of the ocean and the living beings that use it as a home. There’s now a political fight amongst various governments about what to do with this potential energy source found in nodules deep in the sea. Do we harvest them and help cultivate a new natural resource to power our industry or do we protect the nodules and thus save the various species of underwater beings that use them as homes? “Deep Rising” is the urgent and real story about the battle for survival deep in the darkest parts of the ocean.
“Deep Rising” is directed by Matthieu Rytz and had its debut earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival. “Deep Rising” arrives in theaters on October 27. You can see the exclusive trailer below.
