While you’re busy taking your mother out to brunch, Darren Aronofsky is using today’s Hallmark holiday to debut the poster for his upcoming movie, “mother!” And look out “Alien: Covenant,” there’s a new chestburster in town.

Details about the movie have been kept tightly under wraps, but what we do know is that the horror/thriller stars Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Domhnall Gleeson, and Michelle Pfeiffer and revolves around a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence. Raising the stakes will be a score by the always terrific Jóhann Jóhannsson (“Sicario,” “The Theory Of Everything,” “Blade Runner 2049“), which marks an intriguing break between Aronofsky and his longtime collaborator Clint Mansell.
“mother!” opens on October 13th, and here’s hoping a trailer is on the way soon.
