As seen in the new trailer for “Master of None” Season 3, dubbed “Moments in Love,” the series is returning in an all-new way. Ansari no longer stars in the show, instead handing the reins over to Lena Waithe, who was a writer and supporting cast member previously. This time, instead of focusing on Ansari’s character, the show is now going to follow the story of Denise (Waithe) as she chronicles her relationships with Alicia (Naomi Ackie). And another big contrast is the way the series is filmed, with Season 3 taking on a truly stylish approach with the different aspect ratio and grainy film.

“Master of None” Season 3 debuts on Netflix on May 23. You can watch the new trailer below.

Here’s the synopsis:

The Emmy Award-winning MASTER OF NONE returns with a new season that chronicles the relationship of Denise (Emmy Award winner Lena Waithe) and her partner Alicia (BAFTA winner Naomi Ackie).
