Charlie Kaufman’s newest mind fark, fuck, fart, “Synecdoche, New York” comes out this weekend, Friday, October 24. We showed you a bunch of scenes yesterday and today we have a few more. These ones center a bit more on Tom Noonan who plays Sammy, the quasi-stalker in the film. He’s one of our favorite parts in the script and the movie and adds a lot of comic relief to this somber and absurdist meditation on death.
Savante multi-instrumentalist Jon Brion composed the score and Kaufman co-wrote some songs with him. The soundtrack came out digitally yesterday with a physical release coming on November 11.
