‘Predator: Killer Of Killers’ Trailer: The Yautja Fight Human Warriors Across Time In Anthology Animated Film

2025 is quickly becoming the year of “Predator” as we’ll see TWO films connected to the franchise releasing from 20th Century Studios, the first up is a streaming film at Hulu called “Predator: Killer of Killers,” and they’ve dropped a new trailer for it.

An anthology animated film streaming on June 6 that sees predators (the canonical name The Yautja) fighting tough-as-nails human warriors from across time. We’ll see them fight Vikings in a frosty environment, a group of Samurai in feudal Japan, and one in a spaceship going up against WWII-era pilots.

“Predator: Killer of Killers” was co-directed by Dan Trachtenberg and Josh Wassung (from animation company The Third Floor) with a voice cast that consists of Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa, Rick Gonzalez, and Michael Biehn (“Terminator,” “Aliens”). It also has a script penned by Micho Robert Rutare and has a story from Trachtenberg and Rutare, based on characters created by Jim Thomas and John Thomas.

The film’s official synopsis, courtesy of 20th Century Studios:

Anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent – the ultimate killer of killers.

A producing team on the animated pic features the likes of John Davis, Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, Lawrence Gordon, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas, and Stefan Grube.

On August 7, we’ll see Trachtenberg’s bombastic new live-action take on the franchise with “Predator: Badlands” after delivering the Indigenous period action flick “Prey” that got so popular it helped convince Disney to give this new film starring Elle Fanning (playing a possible android built by Weyland-Yutani) a theatrical release.
