Samuel L. Jackson is furious because of the lack of authenticity during the stripper scene in his new movie, “Lakeview Terrace.”
“It is a bachelor party, and we have three strippers at the party. But it is a PG movie, so there aren’t any titties! We have three strippers at the party, and none of them have their top off. “How does that work? I’m like, come on! You could show the girl from the back, with her back bare. At least it gives a sense that she was naked. “You can’t just show them in their bras and panties. You have forty drunken cops in a house with three strippers? And nobody is naked? This is probably more reason why Neil LaBute asks himself every morning. “Why did I direct this movie again?“
Jackson was recently in a similar situation with “Snakes on a Plane,” that veered dangerously close to a PG-13 rating for a second, but his pleas for more violence, profanity and senselessness worked out in his favor. It is doubtful that the demanded changes will be made to “Lakeview Terrace,” with the film’s pratically straight to video bomb release a few weeks away, so I guess for now, the audience will have to deal with the without the dairy pillows.
