Got a Tip?

Emma Watson, Jason Segel & Dave Krumholtz Go To ‘The End Of The World’ With Seth Rogen

emma-watson-Well, we always knew that "The End Of The World," the newly titled feature adaptation of "Jay And Seth Vs. The Apocalypse" was going to be swarming with cameos, but this may be the biggest, non-Apatow gang member to join the flick (outside of Rihanna, who James Franco recently tipped).

Emma Watson continues to grow out of her Hermoine days, and has taken a part in the film as herself. Set to mark the directorial debut of producing and writing partners Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the concept for this one is simple: a bunch of friends and folks are stuck in James Franco's place while the apocalypse is happening outside. Rogen, Franco, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride and Aziz Ansari are among those already slated to appear in what is a high concept, but no less potentially hilarious outing. Michael Cera is also expected to take part should his schedule allow, and Jason Segel and Dave Krumholtz are also slated to appear as themselves.

But all this has been made possible due to Watson's planned re-team with her 'Harry Potter' director David Yates, on the drama "Your Voice In My Head," having its production start date pushed back a few weeks. Based on the book by screenwriter Emma Forrest, the film will tell the true story about her battle with self-destructive behavior and how she was saved by a compassionate psychiatrist (to be played by Stanley Tucci). The plan was for the picture to shoot this spring, but it now it's looking like the summer.

Needless to say though, Watson is on a hot streak. She's got "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower" arriving later this year, and 2013 is already shaping up with two very different projects in Sofia Coppola's "The Bling Ring" (which recently wrapped) and now this comedy (a muscle for Watson to flex). Like Daniel Radcliffe, she's eager to shake things up and the choices have certainly been bold. "The End Of The World" hits theaters on May 14, 2013. [Variety/THR]
