A year after Oasis launched their Live ’25 tour in Cardiff, Wales, the teaser trailer has arrived for “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” a new documentary following Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher through the band’s long-awaited reunion.
The film, produced by Magna Studios and presented by Sony Music Vision, will open in select IMAX and theaters in September before streaming later this year on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S.

Created by Steven Knight, the “Peaky Blinders” creator and “A Thousand Blows” writer-producer, “Don’t Look Back In Anger” is directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, whose previous music-doc credits include “Shut Up and Play the Hits” and “Meet Me in the Bathroom.”
Rather than a standard archival overview, the film focuses on Oasis Live ’25, the band’s first tour together in 16 years. According to the announcement, the documentary includes rehearsal, backstage, and onstage access, as well as joint interview material with Liam and Noel Gallagher, billed as their first interviews together in more than two decades.
Knight framed the film around the reunion itself, saying, “The Oasis world tour united generations, cultures and countries and spoke to a broken world about reconciliation. ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ is not only your ticket to the show – it’s a backstage pass and a seat at the table when Liam and Noel sit down together for the first time in 15 years and tell it how it is and how it was.”
The documentary also has a strong music-film team behind it. Sam Bridger (“Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now,” “Meet Me in the Bathroom”) and Guy Heeley (“Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man”) produce, with executive producers including Kate Shepherd, Marisa Clifford, Davud Karbassioun, Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, Isabel Davis, and Tim O’Shea.
The technical team includes Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather (“Top Gun: Maverick,” “Belfast”) and Tarn Willers (“The Zone of Interest”), cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos (“Belfast,” “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”), and editors George Cragg and Martina Zamolo.
Oasis’ reunion was one of the biggest music stories of 2025, both for the scale of the shows and for the simple fact that Liam and Noel Gallagher were back onstage together after years of estrangement. “Don’t Look Back In Anger” now turns that return into a theatrical event before it lands on streaming.
