Bradley Cooper certainly likes to juggle genres. In recent times, the actor has switched up between popcorn fare like "The A-Team," comedies like "The Hangover," adult dramas like "Limitless" and the upcoming "The Place Beyond The Pines" and, of course, money-spinning, lady-killing rom-coms such as "Valentine's Day" and "He's Just Not That Into You."
Cooper is now circling a return to the latter genre, looking to team with "The Proposal" helmer Anne Fletcher on a mysterious project titled "Fight Before Christmas" which is sure to see ups and downs of the holiday season interwine with Cooper's romance with a lucky lady.
The project is being developed under Shawn Levy's 21 Laps shingle with a script by "Due Date" writer Adam Sztykiel that's being kept under wraps for now. Interestingly, this won't be the first time Fletcher is working with Levy having choreographed his recent robot-boxing film "Real Steel" starring Hugh Jackman.
Fletcher's currently in post for the road trip comedy "My Mother's Curse" which features the oddly fascinating pairing of Seth Rogen and Barbara Streisand amongst a fairly strong supporting cast. While that may seemingly hint at progress for the director, we'd be remiss to remind you that Fletcher was at the helm of dance-drama"Step Up" and the bridezilla-themed "27 Dresses." [Variety]
