When you hear the word “nun,” you don’t normally think of Bella Thorne. But pair that with sex and drugs, and the combination starts to make a little more sense. With the release of the “Habit” trailer, audiences can now see all of that in one movie.
The trailer opens with Thorne and her friends, dressed as nuns, beating up a man in an alleyway. It’s just a taste of how crazy the movie promises to get. Thorne’s character continues on to narrate the trailer, laying out a story of young women who find themselves in a bad situation. So in order to escape the wrath of a drug lord, they come up with the most natural conclusion — dress up as nuns to avoid his wrath. The “Habit” trailer only shows a taste of how crazy this movie will likely get over the course of its runtime.
Libby Mintz (“Fired Up!“), Josie Ho (“Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li“), Paris Jackson (“Gringo“), Gavin Rossdale (“The Bling Ring“), Hana Mae Lee (“The Boys“), and Hayley Marie Norman (“A.P. Bio“) join Thorne in the cast of “Habit.” Mintz co-wrote the film with director Janell Shirtcliff. “Habit” is Shirtcliff’s writing and directorial debut.
