Having worked with directors such as Steven Soderbergh, Clint Eastwood, Jason Reitman, and Christopher Nolan, it is surprising that Aaron Eckhart isn’t a household name. It could be argued, though, that he is a “household face” since most everyone recognizes him the second he’s on screen.

Eckhart has never been put into a box of strictly one character archetype. The same could be said about the genre of films that he does; he can be found in romantic comedies, historical dramas, and even superhero movies. His most recent endeavor, “Muzzle,” sees him return to action thriller territory alongside Stephen Lang, Kyle Smithson, and Diego Tinoco.
Directed by John Stalberg Jr. and written by Carlyle Eubank based on a story created by the pair, the film centers around an LAPD officer who is determined to uncover the truth about the shocking murder of his K-9 partner.
“Muzzle” also stars Nick Searcy and Penelope Mitchell. It is set to release on September 29, in theaters and on all rental platforms. Check out the official synopsis, poster, and trailer below.
Eckhart stars as LAPD K-9 officer Jake Rosser, who has just witnessed the shocking murder of his dedicated partner by a mysterious assailant. Blocked by Internal Affairs and muzzled by his own superiors from finding the shooter’s identity, Jake resolves to go rogue and partners with “Socks,” a violent K-9. Together, the pair works to unravel a vast conspiracy.
