As seen in the trailer for “Elton John: Never Too Late,” we are given full access to the career of Sir Elton John. From his beginnings as a child who just wanted nothing more than to be in music to an adult struggling with his sexuality to now being a legendary figure.

The new documentary comes from directors R.J. Cutler and David Furnish. The duo are an interesting combo for this film. On the one hand, you have Cutler, who is no stranger to documentaries, having directed a film about Billie Eilish. And on the other hand, you have Furnish, who is actually the husband of John. Take that for what it’s worth.
