Fear of heights did a lot of heavy lifting in “Fall,” and now the survival-thriller franchise is climbing again. The first trailer has arrived for “Fall 2: Deadpoint,” a new vertigo-inducing sequel directed by The Spierig Brothers.
Harriet Slater, Arsema Thomas, and Tom Brittney lead the cast of “Fall 2: Deadpoint,” which relocates the franchise’s fight for survival to Thailand’s Mount Kwan.

According to the official synopsis: “Two climbers become trapped thousands of feet above the ground during a perilous ascent. With sheer exposure, impossible odds, and a potentially fatal drop surrounding them, every moment becomes a fight to stay alive.”
Jonathan Frank and Scott Mann, who created the characters introduced in “Fall,” wrote the screenplay. James Harris, Mark Lane, Scott Mann, David Haring, and Christian Mercuri serve as producers.
The original “Fall,” directed by Scott Mann, starred Grace Caroline Currey and Virginia Gardner as two women stranded at the top of an abandoned 2,000-foot radio tower. The stripped-down thriller turned its extreme height and limited setting into a sustained exercise in tension, establishing a premise that could easily be transferred to other dangerous vertical environments.
For “Fall 2: Deadpoint,” The Spierig Brothers take over directing duties. The Australian filmmaking duo previously helmed “Daybreakers,” “Predestination,” “Jigsaw,” and “Winchester.”
Rated PG-13 for strong language, violent content, bloody images, and drug material, “Fall 2: Deadpoint” opens in U.S. theaters on September 2, 2026. Watch the trailer below.
