“The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping”
The “Hunger Games” franchise returns to the Second Quarter Quell, where a young Haymitch Abernathy becomes one of twice the usual number of tributes. Joseph Zada leads an enormous ensemble that includes Elle Fanning, Ralph Fiennes, Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, and Jesse Plemons, with Francis Lawrence directing again.

Andrew Scott stars as acclaimed Scottish actor Ian Charleson during the final months of his life, as he prepares to play Hamlet while privately battling AIDS. Simon Stone directs, with Olivia Colman, Billie Piper, Johnny Flynn, Peter Mullan, and Joe Locke among the ensemble.

“Josephine”
Writer-director Beth de Araújo’s Sundance Grand Jury and Audience Award winner follows an eight-year-old girl struggling to regain a sense of safety after witnessing a violent crime in Golden Gate Park. Breakout Mason Reeves stars alongside Gemma Chan and Channing Tatum as her parents.

“Minotaur”
Andrey Zvyagintsev returns with his first feature since “Loveless,” following a wealthy Russian executive simultaneously confronting his wife’s suspected infidelity and orders to select employees for military conscription. The politically charged drama won the Grand Prix at Cannes.

“Way of the Warrior Kid”
Jude Hill plays a bullied middle-schooler whose injured Navy SEAL uncle, played by Chris Pratt, spends the summer helping him develop discipline, confidence, and resilience. Linda Cardellini co-stars, with McG directing the adaptation of former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink’s bestselling novel.

“All Of A Sudden”
Ryusuke Hamaguchi follows “Evil Does Not Exist” with a French- and Japanese-language drama led by Virginie Efira and Tao Okamoto, who jointly received Cannes’ Best Actress prize. The film centers on the unexpected encounter between a nursing home director and a terminally ill playwright who is attempting to complete one final work.

“The Adventures of Cliff Booth”
Brad Pitt reprises his Oscar-winning “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” role in a film written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by David Fincher. Set in 1977, the story finds Booth navigating a very different Hollywood, with Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian joining Pitt.
Release Date: November 25 in IMAX for an exclusive two-week run, followed by Netflix on December 23.
“14th”
A decade after “13th,” Ava DuVernay returns to the Constitution with a sweeping documentary chronicling the 150-year battle over the Fourteenth Amendment. Combining archival scholarship with contemporary headlines and more than 50 interviews—including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Anna Paulina Luna, Stacey Abrams, Hasan Piker, and historians Eric Foner and David Blight—the film examines America’s unresolved struggle over citizenship, equality, and belonging.

“Violent Night 2”
David Harbour returns as the hard-drinking, hammer-wielding Santa Claus in the sequel to 2022’s action-comedy sleeper. Tommy Wirkola is also back to direct, while Kristen Bell joins as Mrs. Claus alongside Daniela Melchior, Jared Harris, Joe Pantoliano, Maxwell Friedman, and Andrew Bachelor.
