Final 'A Quiet Place' Trailer Gives Us A Look At What Hunts The Silent Family

The marketing campaign for the upcoming horror film, “A Quiet Place,” has been incredible. The first trailer for the film featured no dialogue for the film but is easily one of the most tense teasers we’ve seen for a film in ages. Now, with the film getting close to its release, we have a final trailer for the film, and it helps give a glimpse at what is stalking the quiet family.

First off, it’s clear that this trailer has the most dialogue so far, with about two lines being said in the minute run-time of the teaser. However, have those two lines doesn’t lose the impact of the premise. The film follows a family that survived a worldwide catastrophic event. Now, they must remain completely silent to avoid being noticed by…something…in the woods. It’s that “something” that has been hinted at in previous trailers, that we now get a couple glimpses of in this footage.

“A Quiet Place” comes from writer/director/star John Krasinski. He stars along with Emily Blunt, who plays his wife (and is his real-life spouse, as well) and young actors Noah JupeCade Woodward, and Millicent Simmonds, who play the children. In our recent review of the film, we describe it as “a thrilling, near-silent film that brilliantly toys with the audience’s nerves while deftly avoiding familiar clichés…”

“A Quiet Place” hits theaters April 6.
