‘Christy,’ ‘Good Fortune,’ ‘Bad Apples,’ ‘Poetic License,’ ‘Couture’ Among New 2025 Toronto International Film Festival World Premieres

The 2025 edition of the Toronto International Film Festival is a little under seven weeks away. While world premieres of highly anticipated films such as Rian Johnson’s Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery,” Derek Cianfrance’s “Roofman,” and Nia DaCosta‘s “Hedda” have already been revealed, the festival unfurled an almost complete lineup that teases so much more. And, as always, its categorizations help reveal what films are likely debuting at the 2025 Telluride Film Festival and the 2025 Venice Film Festival, the weekend prior.
