‘Hunters’ Trailer: Al Pacino & His Team Hunt Nazis In Jordan Peele’s New Amazon Series

“This is not murder. This is mitzvah.” And with that, Al Pacino’s character in the upcoming Amazon TV series “Hunters” welcomes his team to the mission of wiping out hidden Nazis in a post-WWII world.

The new trailer for “Hunters” is less of a tease of what the actual plot of the new series might be. Instead, using Pacino’s monologue, the new trailer is an introduction to the mission statement that drives the title characters as they go around wiping out traces of Nazi evil from the world.

The new series is the latest TV property from Jordan Peele’s Monkey Paw production company and is written and produced by David Weil. The series stars Pacino as Meyer Offerman, a man that brings together a group of Nazi hunters together in 1977 New York City. The group has discovered the existence of hundreds of high-ranking Nazi officers and must wipe them out before the evil folks create the Fourth Reich.

“Hunters” stars Pacino alongside Logan Lerman, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Dylan Baker, and Lena Olin.

Amazon Prime Video has yet to announce an official release date for “Hunters,” but it is expected to arrive in 2020.
