Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny & Kendrick Lamar Top 2026 Grammy Awards Nominations [Complete List]

The Recording Academy revealed the nominees for the 2026 Grammy Awards this morning and, as always, there were surprises. What was unexpected was the utter domination of Kendrick Lamar with nine nominations, including Album of the Year (“GNX”), Record of the Year (“luthr”), and Song of the Year (“luthr”). Among other artists, Lady Gaga and Jack Antonoff received 7 nominations each. Bad Bunny, Sabrina Carpenter, Serban Ghenea, and Leon Thomas were honored with six nominations, while Clipse, Doechii, Sounwave, SZA, Turnstile, Tyler, the Creator, and Andrew Watt earned five each, and Justin Bieber took four noms.

Artists snubbed in numerous categories this year include The Weeknd across the board, Alex Warren in Record and Song of the Year for “Ordinary,” Gracie Abrams, Tate McRae for “Revolving Door,” Lorde, Bensoon Boone, Role Model, Blackpink, and Playboi Carti, among others.

Timothée Chalamet is also now a Grammy nominee after the “A Complete Unknown” soundtrack earned a Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media nod. Why Monica Barbaro, Edward Norton, and Boyd Holbrook’s participation was excluded is unclear.

Perhaps most intriguing is the numerous Grammy nominations that will affect the upcoming Oscar nominations. “Sinners” earned a stunning five nominations, including three in the Song Written for Visual Media category. While it didn’t crack the Record of the Year category, “KPop Demon Hunters” and its smash “Golden” also earned five nominations, including Song of the Year, Song Written for Visual Media, Pop Duo/Group Performance, Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media, and, in a massive surprise, Remixed Recording for David Guetta’s “sounds like he barley did anything” remix of “Golden.” Not to be outdone, “Wicked,” formerly known as “Wicked: Part One,” earned three nominations, including Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media, Score Soundtrack For Visual Media, and a Pop Duo/Group Performance nomination for Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande‘s rendition of “Defying Gravity.” Oh, and “F1: The Movie” also landed three nominations, including Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media, “Bad As I Used To Be” by Chris Stapleton in Country Solo Performance, and “Just Keep Watching” by Tate McCrae in Dance Pop Recording.

Notably, Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson earned an Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording nod for her narration of her novel “Lovely One: A Memoir.”

The 68th Grammy Awards will be handed out on Feb. 1, 2026, in a ceremony aired live on CBS and Paramount+.
