Got a Tip?

Listen: “100 Black Coffins” By Rick Ross From ‘Django Unchained’; Leonardo DiCaprio Worried “Are We Going Too Far”?

nullIt has been a good week for those eagerly anticipating Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained" as a new trailer and soundtrack details dropped for the film (check out our breakdown of what movies those tracks were sourced from). But that's not all, Tarantino himself came out of the editing bay for THR's directors' roundtable chat and dropped all kinds of nuggets, including his assertion that "Death Proof" is his worst film and that even he doesn't want to see a three-hour "Django Unchained." And with the film set to unspool for critics on the weekend, another little treat has landed online.

Produced by and featuring Jamie Foxx, "100 Black Coffins" by Rick Ross has landed online in its full form via Nah Right. It's nothing less than what you'd expect from the Maybach Music maven, and we're mostly curious to see how the song will fit in the fabric of the film. Meanwhile, the cast is beginning to do the press rounds too, and if you were wondering if they had any reservations about tackling a slavery/vengeance blockbuster through the distinct eye of Tarantino, we'll let Leonardo DiCaprio elaborate on his first reaction.

"For me, the initial thing obviously was playing someone so disreputable and horrible whose ideas I obviously couldn't connect with on any level. I think it took me to places I didn't even imagine," the actor told USA Today. "I remember our first read and it was hard for me to wrap my head around it. My initial response was 'Do we need to go this far? Are we going too far?' "

We'll find out soon enough, Leo. "Django Unchained" digs up graves on Christmas Day.
