Podcast: 'Bingeworthy™' Launches As The Playlist's TV-Focused Podcast

Welcome to the first episode of Bingeworthy, The Playlist‘s new podcast devoted to all things TV. This week Editor-in-Chief Rodrigo Perez helps me kick things off with a discussion of what we’ve been watching and what we’re looking forward to in the next few months.

We dive into the Netflix universe, sharing our thoughts on Baz Luhrmann’s “The Get Down,” as well as Marvel‘s “Daredevil,” “Jessica Jones” and the upcoming launch of “Luke Cage.” We also continue The Playlist and the Talkhouse‘s Podcast chat on Stranger Things” and plotblocking. The return of Amazon‘s “Transparent” has us both excited, but we’re divided over Woody Allen‘s “Crisis in Six Scenes.”

“Peak TV” and the current state of television are also on our minds, as we discuss how what we watch and how we watch has changed. We discuss how works like ESPN‘s “OJ: Made in America” are blurring the lines between the big and small screens.
