Warner Bros. Dates 2 Mystery DC Films For 2020

At least for the moment, DC Films is back on their feet thanks for the smash success of “Wonder Woman.” Not only has it been embraced by fans and critics, the movie is highest domestic earner of any DCEU movie to date, and the second highest worldwide behind “Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice.” No doubt, Warner Bros. is not stopping the comic book train any time soon, and they’ve thrown darts at a couple more dates.

Collider reveals that the studio has pegged February 14, 2020 and June 5, 2020 for a pair of Untitled DC Films. What are they? Well, there are plenty of options. It’s probably a safe bet that Geoff Johns and co. really want Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” for one of those dates, but outside of that “Justice League Dark,” “The Flash,” “Gotham City Sirens,” “Deadshot,” “Justice League 2,” “Man Of Steel 2,” “Nightwing,” “Batgirl,” “Wonder Woman 2,” “Shazam,” “Green Lantern Corps.,” and “Suicide Squad 2” are all in various stages of the development (in fact, the latter has Jaume Collet-Serra as the frontrunner to direct, with reports it’ll shoot next year, so that’s definitely a very viable option).

Meanwhile, adding another twist, an Untitled DC Animation Film has been slated for June 1, 2018 — but that’s a Tuesday, so a pretty safe bet it’s one of Warner Bros. ongoing home video projects.
