11 Shows To Watch In June: ‘The Acolyte,’ ‘House Of The Dragon’ & ‘The Bear’

Orphan Black Echoes
Krysten Ritter stars in the spinoff series “Orphan Black: Echoes” from showrunner Anna Fishko. Set in the same world as “Orphan Black,” the ten-episode season takes place in 2052. Set over 30 years since the end of the original series, the story follows Kira — the daughter of original protagonist Sarah Manning, played by Tatiana Maslany — and her wife as they try to help an amnesiac woman. Keeley Hawes, Amanda Fix, Avan Jogia, James Hiroyuki Liao, and Rya Kihlstedt star. 
Release Date: The series premieres June 23 on AMC, AMC+, and BBC America.

Land of Women
Eva Longoria stars in and produces the six-episode dramedy series “Land of Women.” Starring Carmen Maura, Victoria Bazúa, and Santiago Cabrera, the series follows Longoria’s Gala whose life is upended when her husband finds trouble due to unpaid debt. Alongside her mother and teenage daughter, Gala must leave New York to evade criminals targeting her due to her husband’s disappearance to start a new life in northern Spain, where she grew up. 
Release Date: The series premieres June 26 on Apple TV+. 

The Bear” (Season 3)
The Emmy Award-winning comedy/drama “The Bear” returns for its third season. Created by Christopher Storrer and starring Jeremy Allen White, the series finds its characters dealing with the effects of their newly launched restaurant. The requisite stress follows as they deal with tumultuous emotions and kitchen drama. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson all return. 
Release Date: Season 3 premieres June 27 on FX and Hulu.
