Well, after a tumultuous Spring rife with rumors that Tom Hardy was ousted from the series, Guy Ritchie‘s “MobLand” will make its return to Paramount+ this Fall. The UK crime series hasn’t been renewed for a third season yet, but Hardy is in talks to return as fixer Harry Da Souza if it is. And given the show’s popularity, not to mention its star power beyond Hardy in Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and others, expect “MobLand” Season 3 to be greenlit well before Season 2 finishes its run.

But let’s not get ahead of ourselves: the first teaser for Season 2 just dropped, and it teases whats fans should expect in the new batch of episodes. And really, that’s more of the same when it comes to criminal violence, family betrayals, and Hardy’s Da Souza in the midst of it all trying to keep everything from fracturing (and his head above water).
Here’s a brief synopsis for “MobLand” Season 2, courtesy of Paramount+:
The Harrigans, heads of North London’s largest criminal empire, are on the brink of civil war, and their rivals are starting to notice. As tensions within the Harrigan family intensify, their ‘fixer’ Harry Da Souza is the only one that can keep them from falling apart.
Along with Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren, “MobLand” Season 2 also stars Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer, and Toby Jones.
“MobLand” is the brainchild of executive producer Ritchie, creator, writer and exec producer Ronan Bennett, and writer and exec producer Jezz Butterworth. Other executive producers include Hardy, Ivan Atkinson, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Keith Cox. “MobLand” is a co-production between David C. Glasser‘s 101 Studios and Paramount Television Studios.
