“Spider-Noir”
A bit character from “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” is getting his own television series. Nicholas Cage stars in “Spider-Noir” as this alternate timeline version of Spider-Man, here known as “The Spider,” or Ben Reilly. Led by showrunners Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot, the series follows down-on-his-luck private investigator Ben Reilly as he processes a recent personal tragedy while maintaining the role of New York City’s only superhero. Taking place in the 1930s, the series stars Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, Karen Rodriguez, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, and Brendan Gleeson.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres May 25 on Prime Video.
“The Four Seasons”
Following the upheaval of the end of Season 1, Season 2 of “The Four Seasons” picks up with changed dynamics following a shocking death. Created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher, and Tracy Wigfield and starring Fey, Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Steve Carell, Marco Calvani, Kerri Kenney-Silver, and Erika Henningsen, the series is based on the 1981 film of the same name starring Alan Alda. Season 2 follows the characters as their dynamics – romantic and otherwise – continue to shift as they face the realities of life, all while jet-setting for new group vacations.
Release Date: Season 2 premieres May 28 on Netflix.
“Star City”
A spinoff of the cult-favorite series “For All Mankind,” “Star City” pivots perspectives to focus on the Soviet Union, following the Soviet Chief Aerospace Designer and the head of the KGB surveillance team. Created by Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert, and Ronald D. Moore, the series stars Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin, Solly McLeod, Agnes O’Casey, Alice Englert, Adam Nagaitis, Josef Davies, and Ruby Ashbourne Serkis.
Release Date: Season 1 premieres May 29 on Apple TV+.

Peacock debuts its latest crime thriller, the Florida-set “M.I.A.,” on May 7, with Netflix getting in on the crime thriller genre with “Legends,” starring Steve Coogan, Tom Burke, and Hayley Squires. There’s the latest from the creators of “Big Mouth,” the adult animated comedy “Mating Season,” premiering May 22 on Netflix. Also arriving on Netflix on May 14 is the Japanese romantic drama “Soul Mate” by Shunki Hashizume.
