While everyone’s heart skipped a beat when Han Solo and Chewbacca emerged at the end of the first "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" teaser to declare, "We’re home," Harrison Ford has long stated he prefers playing Indiana Jones. And if things work out the way he hopes, "Star Wars" won’t be the only mega-franchise he returns to.
“Oh, yeah. Yeah, I’d love to do another Indiana Jones,” he told EW. “A character that has a history and a potential, kind of a rollicking good movie ride for the audience, Steven Spielberg as a director — what’s not to like?” Well, the last time we got "Indiana Jones & The Kingdom The Crystal Skull," so nothing is a guaranteed slam dunk.
As for Han Solo, Disney and Lucasfilm are already at work on a spinoff movie, and Ford teases, “I think they’re probably talking to the young Han Solo.” Does that mean casting is already underway? Certainly, whoever winds up in the roll has big shoes to fill, but Ford has some simple advice: “I would say, ‘Talk to your director. Watch the movies. And welcome aboard. Make it your own.’”
However, before any of the above happens, we’ve got "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" coming and it lands on December 18th. Here’s a batch of new images.
