'Silicon Valley' Actress Calls T.J. Miller A "Bully" And Says Male Cast Can "F--- Off Forever" For Being Complicit

It’s not a well-kept secret that actor-comedian T.J. Miller is a bit of an asshole. That isn’t to say he’s not a talented actor or comedian (his IMDB credits would suggest that he’s very popular and doesn’t have trouble finding work), but by all accounts, on set, he can be a pain in the ass. Now, according to one actress from “Silicon Valley,” not only should Miller be held accountable for his well-documented issues, but so should the rest of the male-dominated cast and crew.

In a series of tweets, actress-comedian Alice Wetterlund has spoken out about what it was like working with T.J. Miller on the set of the popular, award-winning HBO comedy. “I hope to not ruin it for you, but TJ Miller was a bully and petulant brat and pretty much everyone who had any power on that (almost all male) set, including the male cast members, enabled him and were complicit in his unprofessionalism. They can fuck off forever,” she tweeted.

She continued, “I’m pretty open about this, and I don’t know if other women on the show had a different experience than me, but it was kind of a nightmare.”

These statements came after she tweeted, sarcastically, about Miller’s attempt to revive his career. Recently, on top of his on-set antics that got him removed (fired or quit, depends on who you ask) from “Silicon Valley,” the actor was arrested for calling in a fake report when he called 911 about someone he believed was carrying a bomb. Of course, it was later revealed that he was intoxicated.

And since Twitter, and social media in general, is a cesspool of horribleness, Wetterlund was attacked for her statements, including many asking why she didn’t take care of the problem on set and speak up to the cast and crew. She replied, “How do you know I didn’t speak up? Just because you didn’t hear about it? I didn’t realize HBO HR is supposed to contact you.”

“Silicon Valley “ just recently wrapped up its fifth season and was nominated for a slew of Emmy awards and has been renewed for a sixth season.
