We’re at the time of year when we’re all rounding up our best-of lists, and sure command any retrospective of the small screen’s finest in 2017 will be David Lynch‘s “Twin Peaks.” The return of his cult series will go down in history as one of 2017’s boldest, bravest narratives — no matter the size of screen — and we want to make sure some lucky readers get a chance to re-live the experience (or have it for the first time).
Led by Kyle MacLachlan, 18-part “Twin Peaks” picks up 25 years after the inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town were stunned by the shocking murder of their homecoming queen Laura Palmer. Boasting an outstanding array of supporting characters and cameo appearances, a terrific soundtrack, surreal visuals, and so much more, “Twin Peaks” is over eighteen hours of pure, unfiltered David Lynch.
The Blu-ray box is a huge treat for fans, containing “IMPRESSIONS: A Journey Behind the Scenes of Twin Peaks,” a series of ten, approximately thirty minute films directed by longtime Lynch documentarian and friend Jason S., who was given unparalleled access to document the making of the series. In addition, the Blu-ray set will include three additional behind-the-scenes films and much more.
