Sure, "Game Of Thrones" might be HBO‘s biggest show, but when it comes to their comedies, you might be surprised to learn the hit series title doesn’t belong to "Veep" or "Silicon Valley." It’s actually "Ballers" that’s bringing in viewers in a massive way, and you can probably thank the star wattage of Dwayne Johnson for that. And he’s bringing his charisma and well tailored suits back for a second season and a new trailer is here.
Essentially "Entourage" by way of sports, the Miami-set show follows The Rock, agent to top tier athletes, as he navigates the egos and money that are involved when dealing with that world. Key supporting roles are filled by Rob Corddry, with Andy Garcia playing the baddie this season.
"Ballers" is back on July 17th.
