After screenings at the Fantasia Film Festival, the Toronto After Dark Film Festival and the Lund Fantastisk Film Festival, "Suburban Gothic" is ready to put away the passport and get ready to hit theaters at home. Today we have an exclusive clip from the supernatural horror comedy.
Starring Matthew Gray Gubler, Kat Dennings, Ray Wise and Barbara Niven and co-written and directed by Richard Bates Jr., the story follows the unemployed, MBA carrying college graduate Raymond who gets kicked out of his apartment and moves back in with his parents. But things go from bad to worse when supernatural weirdness begins to follow him around. In the scene below, when Raymond reveals to a friend that he’s been seeing some freaky flashbacks, the response he gets is more than a little surprising.
