Full Soundtrack Details For Hans Zimmer & Junkie XL's ‘Batman V Superman’ Soundtrack Revealed

blankFor "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," Disney kept the soundtrack details under wraps right up until the film’s release so that none of the titles for John Williams‘ pieces would spoil plot points for fans (ultimately, they were mostly fairly vague anyway). However, Warner Bros. isn’t worried about that problem at all, unveiling the track list for Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL‘s "Batman v  Superman: Dawn Of Justice" months in advance of the movie. While some fans are crying spoiler, the titles here are also pretty benign (unless you know the plot already, I’d wager).

Zimmer returns to Zack Snyder‘s superhero world following "Man Of Steel," but this time around he focused on the Superman-centric themes so he wouldn’t have to dip his toes in the same Batman waters he did for Christopher Nolan‘s "The Dark Knight" trilogy. Instead, Junkie XL, who powered "Mad Max: Fury Road," took on those duties. The first released track, "Their War Here," is pretty much what you’d expect of a synthesis of the two styles, with Zimmer’s emotion meeting XL’s penchant for bombast.

The soundtrack drops digitally, on CD, 2-disc deluxe CD, and on Limited Edition 3-disc deluxe vinyl on March 18th. The film opens on March 25th.
