What does it mean to be a part of something bigger than this moment? “In the Blink of an Eye” presents three stories set thousands of years apart. Each one offers a different perspective on the concepts of human connection. Their themes reflect various impacts from birth, death, and beyond. The upcoming film hails from Andrew Stanton, known to many for his work with Pixar. His notable writing credits include “Toy Story” and “WALL-E,” the latter also directed by Stanton. ‘Eye’ marks a major point in Stanton’s career. It is his first live-action feature since helming “John Carter” in 2012.
“In the Blink of an Eye” brings together an intriguing cast. Rashida Jones, Kate McKinnon, Daveed Diggs, Jorge Vargas, and Tanaya Beatty co-star in the film.
Jones is a versatile actor, having starred in the comedy series “Parks & Recreation” and appearing in a recent episode of “Black Mirror.” She additionally spent time behind the camera, co-writing and co-directing the documentary “Quincy.” McKinnon gained notoriety while performing on “Saturday Night Live” for multiple seasons. She can currently be seen in the 2025 dark comedy “The Roses.” Broadway veteran Diggs is best known for his Tony-winning performance in “Hamilton.” Since then, he’s been a part of various projects like the well-received “Snowpiercer” series.
