“It Deals With Time”: Bryan Singer Teases 'X-Men'/'Fantastic Four' Crossover, Says Movie Is "In Play"

Sony got burned by this methodology with their "The Amazing Spider-Man" series, forcing them to reboot everything, and get a helping hand from Marvel to start over. But it appears Fox is confident enough about their upcoming "Fantastic Four" that Bryan Singer is already teasing the long-rumored crossover movie with his rejiggered X-Men franchise, though he does make a caveat.

“To just say you’re going to do it would be a mistake, you have to see how the films [‘X-Men: Apocalypse‘ and "Fantastic Four"] evolve before you make that decision to completely commit to that,” he told Yahoo Movies. However, it appears conversations are happening, and he says there’s a "natural mechanism" they use to make it work.

“Those ideas are in play,” he said, and teased, “It deals with time. That’s all I’m going to say.”
