EW reports that "Hannibal" star Mads Mikkelsen will be the film’s villainous sorcerer, though his exact character name is not being revealed. “Mads’ character is a sorcerer who breaks off into his own sect,” Kevin Feige teased. “[He] believes that the Ancient One [played by Tilda Swinton] is just protecting her own power base and that the world may be better off if we were to allow some of these other things through.”

"Doctor Strange" opens on November 4, 2016.
