MGM, which is eager to keep "Creed" star Michael B. Jordan in its roster, are now developing a new ‘Thomas Crown’ to star the actor. The project is in very early stages —there’s no writer or director attached yet, but the hunt is now on to find the talent to put a modern spin on the evergreen story about an unlikely relationship that blooms between a heist artist and the investigator tasked with tracking him down.
Norman Jewison directed the 1968 original and John McTiernan helmed the decent received 1999 version starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo. We’ll see who gets lined up for this new take —if you have suggestions share ’em below. [THR]
