Poets & Dreamers: Watch An Exclusive Clip From 'Enough Said' Featuring Julia Louis-Dreyfus & Catherine Keener

Enough Said, Julia Louis-Dreyfus

From “Walking And Talking,” through to “Lovely & Amazing” and 2010’s undersung little gem “Please Give,” writer and director Nicole Holofcener has carved out a career delivering tender and funny films that toe the line between comedy and drama beautifully, delivering rich characters and superb storytelling. And it’s for those reasons and many more that her latest “Enough Said” is one we’re looking forward to at TIFF next month. Again she rounds up a killer cast, with another unique story that promises yet another insightful look at life and love.

Starring the late James Gandolfini, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Toni Collette and Catherine Keener, the film tells the story of Eva (Louis-Dreyfus), a masseuse and single parent, whose will soon have an empty nest when her daughter leaves for college. But things change when she meets Albert (Gandolfini), a likeable man facing the same life change, but there’s one little problem—he’s the ex-husband of Eva’s new client Marianne (Keener), and she has nothing but bad things to say about her former husband. This of course causes no small amount of awkwardness as you can see in this exclusive clip below, which showcases the perfect blend of comedy that Holofcener is known for brewing.

“Enough Said” lands at TIFF and will open in theaters on September 20th. Watch the clip along with a bonus scene from MTV.
