Producer Brian Grazer Says 'Arrested Development' Returns To Netflix In 2016

nullBrian Grazer has been tossing out morsels about the future of "Arrested Development." Earlier this year, he teased that 17 more episodes of the hit comedy were in the works for Netflix, but that was about all the intel that was available. But indeed it looks like everything is pressing forward to make a fifth season of ‘AD’ a reality, and in fact, we can expect more next year.

Stopping by the “Adam Carolla Show,” Grazer laid out a more concrete plan for the future of ‘AD.’ Production will begin in January 2016, and the finished product will roll out “four months after that.” But there are still lots of details to be sorted out. Will the whole ensemble film at the same time, or will this return to the less successful character centered format of the fourth season? I’m hoping that the fast turnaround is an indication that this will be an ensemble effort, so fingers crossed.
