'A Quiet Place' Trailer: Red Means Run With Emily Blunt

Just over a week since they dropped a Super Bowl spot, Paramount Pictures wants to make sure you don’t forget about “A Quiet Place.” So, here comes a brand new trailer in the middle of Monday afternoon to add a few more chills to your Valentine’s Day week.

John Krasinski directs, co-writes, and stars in the this thriller along with Emily Blunt, Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds about which very little has been revealed. Well, until now. Thus far, all we’ve known is that the movie takes place in a creepy cabin, and that one or more of the characters are deaf. This new promo shows off a lot more of the movie, which is either a good for bad thing depending on how much you want revealed before you hit the multiplex. Here’s the cryptic synopsis:

In the modern horror thriller A QUIET PLACE, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threaten their survival. If they hear you, they hunt you.

“A Quiet Place” will open SXSW and arrives in cinemas on April 6th.
