‘The Beast in Me’ Trailer: Claire Danes Starring Netflix Mystery Series Arriving November 13

The Beast in Me” is an upcoming Netflix mini-series starring Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys.  Rhys, a Welsh actor, got his big break with FX’s “The Americans,” a spy thriller series that ran from 2013 to 2018.  The show earned the actor an Emmy win for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2018.  One of Rhys’ first big roles coming out of the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts was in the West End stage production of “The Graduate.”  It was not smooth sailing for the actor after that, however, with no work on the horizon, Rhys found himself applying for the military, but was turned down.  Receiving a rejection letter in the process that the “Perry Mason” star said he should have framed.  Instead, he persisted with his acting ambitions.  It’s a great lesson to never give up on your dreams.
